This basic hummus is a simple, always-on-hand staple that makes instant lunches and snacks possible.
Ingredients:
- Water
- 1 15-oz. can chickpeas
- ¼ cup tahini
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions:
- Drain and rinse chickpeas
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Blend until smooth, adding water a little at a time until the desired texture is reached.
